The long-awaited relaunch of the Hudson’s Bay Guys’ Night Out, a collaboration with Whisky Wisemen, was an exciting evening that included designer fashion brand activations, virtual reality sports, hand-crafted whisky cocktails, and a whole lot of fun. Men’s wear influencer Jon Wiebe (@aroadtodapper) was on hand for a meet-and-greet, as were many of the city’s finest dressed. Guests were treated to expertly curated fashion displays and had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals to get style tips and advice. The highlight of the evening was a surprise appearance by formula driver Nicole Havrda, who shared her journey in a male-dominated industry and empowered the audience with her inspiring story. The event was a huge success and left attendees eagerly anticipating the next Guys’ Night Out collaboration.
The Bay’s Special Events Coordinator Adam McCormack was on hand to greet guests and direct all to check in at the Cartier counter, receive their welcome gift, and proceed to the welcome beverage – the newly launched Canadian Club canned ‘CC + Ginger Ale’ cocktail. From there, guest moved their way from station to station on the 6th floor and visited activations by Ted Baker, Tiger of Sweden, Boss, Levi’s, and more.
Whisky stations included the Canadian Club Lounge, Makers Mark Old Fashion station, and a gorgeously appointed cherry blossom station by Suntory.
JD’s Barbershop offered beard trim and shape-ups, Polo Ralph Lauren sponsored a virtual reality baseball game in conjunction with Evolve Virtual Realty, and SAXX encouraged all to putt a hole-in-one for a pair of underwear.
