Marianne’s academic background has provided a solid foundation in business principles. Still, her hands-on experience as a marketing coordinator this past year for the inspiring Science Fair Foundation of British Columbia truly ignited Marianne’s passion for marketing.

Marianne shares, “I am thrilled to embark on this journey in digital sales with Portfolio.YVR Business & Entrepreneurs Magazine and quickly grow into additional titles and digital products. The marketing industry is constantly changing, and I am dedicated to learning and adapting to new trends and technologies. Vancouver stands out as a vibrant centre in the luxury sector, characterized by its natural landscapes, diverse culture, and vibrant urban life. This city offers an exciting platform for discovering and highlighting the newest innovations and experiences. I believe that effective marketing is about understanding the audience and delivering value, and I am excited to be a part of that process.”

During her time as a marketing coordinator, she had the opportunity to work on various programs that not only were challenging creatively but also honed her analytical skills. Collaborating with a talented team, she learned many digital marketing strategies, from social media engagement and newsletter releases to website development. This experience solidified Marianne’s desire to pursue a career in marketing, where she can harness her skills to drive impactful results.

EcoLuxLuv Marketing and Communications currently publishes two digital flippable magazines, a community magazine focused on BC and a women’s lifestyle magazine,* and consulting and designing Digital Marketing Strategies for small-to-mid-sized local businesses. Growth in 2024 has been rapid, and the creation of the Ambassadorship Program, which has been engaging key persons in various fields (Luxury, Hospitality, Culinary, Theatre, Arts & Culture, AI/Tech, Socials, Business & Entrepreneurship) strengthened community recognition, but this, in turn, created a need for someone who would connect with potential stories one-on-one. Ideally, this person would be adept at creating a digital marketing strategy package that includes media placements,” says Helen Siwak, CEO EcoLuxLuv Marketing & Communications. “In Marianne, I found someone who is digitally savvy, a skilled marketing strategist, and a passionate storyteller. She is keen to connect with local businesses and entrepreneurs to learn their journeys and design a strategy to best share them with potential investors, team members, franchisees, collaborators, and more.”

Marianne is not just passionate about marketing, but also about continuous learning and adaptation, and is eager to enhance her knowledge and expertise in digital sales, recognizing it as the future of marketing. With the ever-evolving landscape of technology and consumer behaviour, her committment to staying ahead of the curve and embracing innovative strategies that resonate with audiences. She looks forward to connecting with fellow marketing enthusiasts, industry professionals, and influencers who share her passion for this exciting field.
