Launched just in time for International Tea Day on Tuesday, May 21, the annual experience is highly anticipated with bookings limited. Guests will once again have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea service with a modern twist in the elegant surroundings of the fairmont hotel vancouver‘s lobby. The experience includes a selection of specialty teas, delectable pastries, and savory sandwiches, all while taking in the stunning views of downtown Vancouver. The unique and exclusive tea setting, available only Monday through Friday, with daily seatings at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This table for two offers a rare opportunity to view the city’s charm from a unique perspective, all while enjoying a spot of tea in an unconventional setting.


Tea enthusiasts and art lovers alike will be captivated by the custom art surrounding them, created by New York-based Meredith Wing of @Moomooi. The inspiring and colourful canopies of Cherry Blossom trees have been brought indoors, creating a blossoming fantasy world for passersby to stop and peer into. When tea is not in session, Moomooi’s signature fashion illustration flare will take centre stage as two original life-size ‘Flower Girl’ paper doll figurines will be on display in the window.

Upon arrival at the host stand outside of Notch8 Restaurant, the journey begins. Guests are whisked up the grand staircase to enter the unique venue for two. The experience starts with guests selecting their preferred choice of LOT 35 Tea to sip on, while the culinary adventure commences with a unique and exciting twist on the traditional Afternoon Tea.

Available for $120.00 CAD per person (excluding taxes and gratuity), reservations are open to the public and can be made online. Included in the experience, guests will enjoy a collection of spirit-free cocktails, as well as an invitation to return to the hotel’s signature restaurant, Notch8 for a complimentary glass of bubbles or a cocktail of their choice.
