OMEGA’s Little Secret: An Exclusive Vancouver Celebration of the Aqua Terra 30 mm Collection

Under the glow of a warm summer evening, OMEGA Watches hosted an unforgettable VIP affair to reveal the my little secret collection—an elevated celebration where precision met allure. Held at the sophisticated 1931 Gallery Bistro, nestled within the Vancouver Art Gallery, the event was as impeccably curated as the timepieces themselves.

Guests were welcomed by Hazem Sbayteh, CEO Country Manager and OMEGA Brand Manager at Swatch Group Canada, whose passion for the brand’s legacy set the tone for the night. The open-air patio overlooking Robson Square became the city’s most exclusive gathering place as a DJ layered chic beats over the ambient hum of clinking glasses and excited conversation.

As the evening unfolded, a roving magician mingled among guests, performing close-up illusions that mirrored the hidden intricacies of OMEGA’s newest creations. The seamless blend of wonder and craftsmanship was the perfect nod to the twelve “beautiful secrets” unveiled in the new Seamaster Aqua Terra 30 mm collection.

Since 1902, OMEGA has shaped women’s watchmaking with icons like the Ladymatic, Constellation, and Seamaster. Now, twenty-three years after its debut, the Aqua Terra evolves again. For the first time, the collection is presented in a refined 30-millimetre case, featuring twelve distinct references. Five stainless steel models combine polished and brushed bracelets, while one design gleams in 18K Sedna™ Gold. Three references in 18K Moonshine™ Gold complete the offering—each available in pure gold or striking two-tone combinations with stainless steel. Vibrant dials with applied hour markers and date windows at 6 o’clock pair seamlessly with transparent sapphire crystal casebacks that reveal a new generation of intricate calibres.

The integrated bracelet design elevates each timepiece further, with bracelets in stainless steel, two-tone stainless steel, and gold, all crafted with a brushed and polished finish. OMEGA’s patented screw-and-pin system ensures strength and refinement, paired with a butterfly clasp featuring pushers on the cover and a 2 mm easy comfort-adjustment for an ideal fit.

Collection highlights include twelve distinct references, three models in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, one model in 18K Sedna™ Gold, five models in stainless steel, two models in stainless steel and 18K Moonshine™ Gold, and one model in stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ Gold.

Inside, the technical artistry continues with two new Master Chronometer movements, the OMEGA Co-Axial Calibre 8750 and 8751 for the precious metal models. Each movement is self-winding in both directions, Master Chronometer certified by METAS, and equipped with a Co-Axial escapement with three levels, OMEGA’s free sprung-balance, NIVACHOC shock protection, and a Si14 silicon balance spring. These calibres offer magnetic resistance to 15,000 gauss, rhodium-plated bridges with polished bevels, and a 48-hour power reserve.

As OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann shared, “The most beautiful part of the watch is the one you cannot immediately see.”

The my little secret campaign, brought to life by Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Marisa Abela, Ariana DeBose, Tems, Danielle Marsh, and Ashley Graham, celebrates the idea that some treasures are simply too beautiful to keep hidden.
