Vancouver’s most spirited celebration returns this spring as Vancouver Cocktail Week takes over the city from March 1 to 8. Now in its fifth year, the festival has firmly positioned itself as a defining moment on the international culinary calendar, spotlighting the creativity, precision, and personality that make this city’s bar scene one of the most dynamic in North America.

Presented by The Alchemist, Vancouver Cocktail Week unfolds across eight flavour-driven days of brunches, seminars, tasting events, neighbourhood takeovers, and late-night revelry. The opening Cocktail-Paired Brunch sets the tone at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, where Executive Chef Roger Ma and Bar Manager Adam Domet present a five-course spirit-to-plate experience designed to blur the line between kitchen and bar.

Throughout the week, the energy builds. The Great Yaletown Shakeup at Brix & Mortar promises a high-voltage showdown as top bartenders compete for neighbourhood bragging rights. Japanese spirits take centre stage at Beyond the Bottle: Minami x TS Global Japanese Spirits Dinner at Minami and Nikka x Miku Kaiseki Coctail-Paired Dinner at Miku with rare pours and curated Kaiseki pairings, while the Roaring 20s Speakeasy Party transforms Coal Harbour into a floating jazz-age fantasy with vintage glamour and premium cocktails.
For those who prefer to sip and stroll, the nightly Cinq à Sept happy hours and Neighbourhood Cocktail Crawls invite exploration across Gastown, Yaletown, Main Street, Commercial Drive, and West 4th Avenue. No tickets required for Cinq à Sept, just an appetite for discovery.

The grand finale arrives at the Gala of Cocktails inside the Spanish Ballroom at Rosewood Hotel Georgia. With more than 25 open bar stations, over 35 original cocktails, live music, and elegant bites, it is the city’s ultimate cocktail party — polished, electric, unforgettable.
Vancouver Cocktail Week continues its partnership with Mind The Bar, supporting mental health resources for hospitality professionals across Canada.

Print program guides are available at participating bars, restaurants, and private liquor retailers throughout Vancouver.
