Glenfiddich has always understood the season before the calendar catches up — its bright, fruit-forward character and layered depth feel purpose-built for the stretch of longer days and unhurried evenings that spring delivers. The air carries just enough warmth to make a patio feel like the only reasonable place to be, and these three serves are ready to meet that moment exactly where it lands.
Highland Honeydew

Built around Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, this vibrant green cocktail brings together fresh honeydew, basil, and lime for a serve that feels effortlessly seasonal. The 12 Year Old’s bright, fresh character plays beautifully against the melon and herb, creating something aromatic and deeply refreshing.
What you will need:
- 2 oz Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
- 1 sugar cube
- ½ cup fresh melon
- 8 basil leaves, plus 1 sprig for garnish
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz simple syrup (optional)
In a shaker, muddle the melon and sugar cube down to a pulp. Add the basil and muddle gently — you want fragrance, not bitterness. Pour in the Glenfiddich, lime juice, and simple syrup if using. Add ice and shake vigorously. Pour the full contents into a rocks glass and top with crushed ice. Finish with a basil sprig.
Speyside Strawberry

A showstopper by any measure. Glenfiddich 14 Year Old brings its signature vanilla richness into conversation with ripe strawberry, Amaretto, citrus, and a dash of Angostura bitters. A shake of aquafaba creates that silken, frothy finish that transforms this into something genuinely striking — the kind of serve you present rather than simply pour.
What you will need:
- 2 strawberries, halved and stem removed
- 1½ oz Glenfiddich 14 Year Old
- ½ oz Amaretto
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz orange juice
- ⅓ oz agave syrup (1:1)
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 oz aquafaba
Muddle the strawberries in a cocktail shaker until broken down. Add the Glenfiddich, Amaretto, both juices, agave syrup, bitters, and aquafaba. Dry shake first — no ice — to build the foam. Add ice and shake again until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass.
Golden Hour

This one is made for the long evenings. Glenfiddich 15 Year Old, known for its rich, layered character, meets passion fruit purée, fresh lime, and vanilla syrup in a serve that manages to feel both tropical and grounded. The aquafaba foam and mint garnish make it as visually compelling as anything you could order at a great bar.
What you will need:
- 1¾ oz Glenfiddich 15 Year Old
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- ¾ oz vanilla syrup
- 1¼ oz passion fruit purée
- ¾ oz aquafaba
- Garnish: 5 mint leaves and half a passion fruit
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake to develop the foam. Add ice and shake again until thoroughly chilled. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint leaves and the passion fruit half, flesh side up.
Make the Most of the Light
Spring’s extended hours are an invitation to be deliberate about how the evening unfolds. Whether the occasion calls for a relaxed brunch, a terrace gathering, or simply a well-deserved end to a long day, these three serves are built for exactly that kind of pause. Glenfiddich does not blend into the background — it sets the tone for everything that follows.
