First introduced to Vancouver in 2012, Dîner en Blanc has become one of the city’s most beloved annual traditions — an evening of elegance, mystery, and collective joy that has unfolded across some of Vancouver’s most iconic locations, from VanDusen Botanical Gardens and Jack Poole Plaza to, most recently, the surprising grandeur of BC Place Stadium.

A New Chapter for a Beloved Vancouver Tradition
After an 18-month pause, Dîner en Blanc returns on Thursday, August 20, 2026, under the stewardship of a new host team: Tahira Endean, Georgia Cuthbertson, and Anthony Vade. Together, they bring decades of experience in event design, strategic communications, community engagement, and hospitality — and a shared commitment to honouring what makes this annual event so distinctive.

“Dîner en Blanc has always been about the magic that happens when people gather with intention,” said Tahira Endean, co-host of Dîner en Blanc Vancouver. “This event invites people to slow down, share a meal, celebrate beauty and feel connected to the city and to each other. We are honoured to carry that tradition forward in Vancouver.”

This year’s theme sets the tone for an evening rooted in romance, artistry, and the spirit of celebration that defined one of France’s most culturally rich eras. The secret venue will be revealed only upon arrival, preserving the anticipation that guests have come to cherish.
“We know there are people in Vancouver who care deeply about this event and what it represents,” said Georgia Cuthbertson, co-host of Dîner en Blanc Vancouver. “Our goal is to honour the spirit and traditions of Dîner en Blanc while bringing fresh energy, thoughtful stewardship and a deep commitment to community. We want to create something beautiful that belongs to the city and leaves a legacy people are proud to be part of.”

An Evening That Belongs to the City
As Endean adds: “Vancouver is a city of remarkable people, places and stories. Dîner en Blanc gives us a way to celebrate that in a truly unique way. It is joyful, generous, creative and unmistakably human.”
The napkin wave, the sparkler moment, the sea of white — these rituals belong to Vancouver, and this team is bringing them back with care, creativity, and deep respect for the community that has made them matter.
