Katherine Evans has a quiet strength about her. The kind of energy that fills a room not with noise, but with warmth — with calm assurance that something meaningful is being created.
As the Founder and CEO of TALLU Wellness Blends, a Vancouver-based wellness and lifestyle brand, Evans has built more than a company. She has built a movement rooted in connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to the spaces we inhabit.
For Evans, wellness is not a trend. It is a way of life. Her philosophy is both elegantly simple and profoundly intentional: to bring calm, clarity, and connection into the everyday. Through TALLU, she has translated this belief into a collection of clean, sensory-driven products that transform ordinary moments into rituals of restoration.

FROM HOSPITALITY TO HOLISTIC LIVING
Katherine’s early career was shaped by the world of luxury hospitality, beginning at Vancouver’s celebrated OPUS Hotel, where she learned that true service is not about transactions, but about meaningful experiences. It was there that she began to understand how spaces — infused with thoughtfulness and care — can make people feel seen, welcomed, and at ease.
Over the next two decades, her career would evolve through leadership roles spanning hospitality, technology, and marketing. From her time as a leader at Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, to heading a North American marketing agency working with clients across Canada and the USA, Evans built an exceptional foundation in leadership, strategy, and brand transformation.
Yet beneath the professional success was a growing desire for something more personal — something soulful.
That calling took form in TALLU, named in honour of a beloved horse, Tallulah, a companion whose memory continues to inspire the brand’s spirit of grounded elegance. The line was created first for horses and as a kitchen spray for her mother. Born during the uncertainty of the pandemic, TALLU was Evans’ way of creating balance in chaos.
“I wanted to design a line of products that would eliminate toxins from the home,” she says. “And then from there, the rest is history! I am living my absolute best dream with TALLU. It is my heart, my passion, my soul — and brings me so much joy every day in all aspects of my life.”

BIRTH OF A BRAND WITH HEART
From its inception, TALLU has embodied Evans’ core values: authenticity, intention, and integrity. What began with MAGIC, a single essential oil blend designed to restore balance, has since grown into a collection of candles, diffusers, soaps, and body blends — each one created in small batches with clean ingredients and natural essential oils.
Every product is designed to be more than an oil blend. It is a sensory experience that bridges the physical and the spiritual, inviting users to reconnect with themselves and the spaces they call home. The brand’s minimalist, timeless aesthetic reflects Evans’ belief that simplicity is the highest form of sophistication.
Based in Vancouver, BC, TALLU now serves retail, wholesale, and hospitality partners across North America. Its partnerships extend into luxury hotels, wellness clubs, and lifestyle properties, including Marriott Autograph CIVIC Hotel, OPUS Vancouver, ACCOR Hotels, Rosewood Hotel Georgia, TURF, Keefer House, Rosemead House, Vancouver Club, Smithe House, and Tality Wellness Inc.
Collaborations with global hospitality and development leaders such as EQUINOX, Nicola Wealth, Anthem, Onni, Wesgroup, Janda Group, and even the Four Seasons Resort at Costa Palmas in Baja Mexico have positioned TALLU as a trusted scent and amenity partner for those who understand that wellness begins with the senses.
“Hotels and hospitality venues are my favourite places in the world, and where the best memories are created,” says Evans. “By bringing TALLU into these spaces, we create environments that feel restorative, authentic — when we close our eyes we can travel back immediately to the feeling of being there.”
BUILDING SOULFUL BUSINESS STRATEGY
What sets Evans apart is her rare ability to bridge business acumen with soulful intention. Drawing from her background in human-centred design and brand leadership, she approaches wellness not as a luxury, but as an essential part of modern living.
Through TALLU, she champions a new vision for the wellness industry — one that rejects the superficial and instead focuses on the human experience. Each TALLU product embodies her understanding that our surroundings shape our emotional state. A candle is not simply décor. A diffuser is not merely fragrance. Together, they are anchors of mindfulness, inviting pause and presence in the fast pace of modern life.
Under Evans’ leadership, TALLU has evolved into a company recognized for its thoughtful approach to holistic wellbeing and intentional design. It serves as a bridge between the corporate world she came from and the mindful one she sought to build — merging luxury with consciousness, elegance with empathy.
DEEP COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
Beyond the brand’s aesthetic appeal lies a profound sense of purpose. Evans has always believed that wellness must extend beyond personal wellbeing to encompass community care. Through TALLU & Co, she has established charitable partnerships with organizations that reflect her values of compassion and empowerment.
Among these initiatives, Evans sits on the Board of MOM’s Offering MORE, a Vancouver-based foundation founded by Kasondra Herrendorf-Cohen that supports the most marginalized youth in our community.
“We believe that it’s important to give back to the communities that have supported us,” Evans explains. “Through our partnerships with non-profit organizations like The Dr. Peter Centre, Face of Today, Canuck Place Foundation, Arts Umbrella, and the CKNW Kids’ Fund, we hope to make a positive impact close to home.”
Her philanthropy is not a marketing gesture but a continuation of her guiding principle and family upbringing. Evans’ parents, John and Susan Evans, have a deep passion for philanthropy, and Katherine is pleased to continue in her parents’ footsteps. Whether through scent, space, or social action, TALLU’s mission remains consistent — to nurture and uplift.

LIVING WITH INTENTION
Evans’ personal life mirrors the balance and joy she promotes through her brand. She is the proud mother of her son, Sam, partner in life and work to Sebastian, and shares her home with Charlie the dog and Jelly the cat. Her love for animals — and for her horses — continues to inform her respect for nature and her dedication to creating products free of toxins and harm.
Every decision at TALLU reflects this care. The company’s clean formulations, essential oil blends, and sustainable production practices demonstrate that wellness and environmental responsibility can coexist beautifully. Evans’ leadership embodies this harmony — she runs her company with both discipline and grace, always guided by purpose rather than pressure.
EXPANDING HORIZONS
As TALLU continues to grow, Evans remains committed to maintaining the integrity that defined its beginnings. The brand’s expansion into hotels, wellness clubs, and lifestyle properties represents more than a business milestone — it signifies a broader cultural shift toward mindful luxury.
Evans envisions a world where wellness products are seamlessly woven into the fabric of daily life — where the scent of lavender or bergamot becomes part of a morning ritual, and where design and wellbeing are inseparable. From its West Coast origins, TALLU is now making waves across North America, resonating with those who seek authenticity and balance.
Yet despite its growing influence, the brand remains grounded in the values it was built upon: kindness, intention, and care.
AN INVITATION TO BREATHE
In every sense, Katherine Evans is a builder — of brands, of communities, and of beauty through simplicity. Her story is one of transformation, not just professionally but personally. Through TALLU, she has created a brand that speaks to our collective longing for stillness in a world that never seems to pause.
To experience TALLU is to be reminded that wellness is not something we find; it is something we create — moment by moment, breath by breath.
