New York’s Kith has arrived in Western Canada, and its new home at Oakridge Park in Vancouver is worth an afternoon of your time. Founded in 2011 by footwear designer Ronnie Fieg, the brand takes its name from “kith and kin,” meaning friends and family, and lives by the motto “Just Us.” Set at the western end of the North Arcade, this approximately 9,000-square-foot flagship is its second in Canada, following the Yorkville store in Toronto.

Walnut Walls, Emerald Stone, and a Dessert Door
Start outside, where the curved-glass frontage deserves a photo. The men’s floor is all moody walnut, marble, brass, and velvet panels stamped with the Kith crest. The women’s side is bright and beautiful, with chevron white oak floors, emerald quartzite, and designer handbags and fine jewellery picked for Vancouver. Kith Kids is cloud-inspired whimsy in soft mint, and Kith Treats has its own entrance and rotating sweets created for this city.
This is the brand behind collaborations with Nike, ASICS, BMW, and Giorgio Armani, so keep an eye on those shelves. Opening week brought an early release of the Winter 2026 collaboration with Salomon, a reminder that limited drops are part of the draw.

Your Move, Vancouver
Take your time in each department, notice the stonework and cabinetry, try on something you would not normally reach for, and finish with something sweet at Kith Treats. Oakridge Park keeps adding international names, with Giorgio Armani’s new boutique and café also just opened, so make an afternoon of the whole centre.
Vancouver’s retail scene is changing quickly, and the newest openings are best experienced in person while they still feel new. A quick search will show what else has opened this season, and the ones you skip are the only ones you miss.
