The recent VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation‘s third annual Vitality Gala was a resounding success, attracting over 800 influential figures from BC’s corporate, philanthropic, and medical circles.
The event, which was presented by B2Gold Corp, brought in an astonishing $2,482,989 in donations for healthcare innovation in BC. Notably, the gala featured a historic winning bid of $320,000 for the ‘Taylor Swift The Eras Tour VIP Suite Experience’ for 15 people, marking the most significant auction gift ever received at a VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation gala. This generous package, contributed by BC Place and PavCo, has truly set a new benchmark for philanthropy in the community.
