On June 27, 2026, something extraordinary is taking shape at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver — and you are going to want to be part of it!
Girls Night Out by QMUNITY is the inaugural fundraising event from one of Vancouver’s most vital 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations, bringing together community leaders, philanthropists, and changemakers for an evening designed around connection, exceptional hospitality, and genuine impact. This is not your standard gala. It is something far more considered — and far more meaningful.

Hosted by community leaders Aleem Kassam and Sid Koshul, the evening unfolds in three distinct acts, guiding guests through a curated journey of surprise, warmth, and generosity. Every detail has been crafted with purpose, making Girls Night Out as unforgettable as it is transformative.
Why It Matters
Proceeds from the evening will fund a dedicated youth space within QMUNITY’s new community centre, currently under construction at the corner of Davie and Burrard in Vancouver’s West End. This next-generation hub will serve queer and trans youth across British Columbia — young people who deserve a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported. “For many young people, finding a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported can be life-changing,” said Aleem Kassam, founder of Girls Night Out. “This event is about bringing together incredible women to help create that sense of belonging for the next generation.”
The vision behind Girls Night Out recognizes something that has always been true: women have shown up for this community, again and again. As Sid Koshul, Campaign Chair for QMUNITY’s New Building Campaign and Co-Host of the event, reflects: “Girls Night Out is a celebration of that spirit and an opportunity to make a lasting impact.”
An Invitation to Be Part of Something Lasting
There is power in a room full of women who choose to show up — not just for a beautiful evening, but for a cause that will outlast the night. Your attendance directly supports the creation of a space that will become a lifeline for youth across this province for years to come.
The youth of this community are counting on the generosity of people exactly like you.
Tickets are limited. Secure one of the remaining tickets for Girls Night Out and help QMUNITY build the future that queer and trans youth deserve.
