Hey Beauties! Mine & Yours just turned 13, and Toronto threw it a birthday party in full designer fashion. More than 200 guests packed El Mocambo for Women Who Wear the Future, a night of runway looks, philanthropy, and pure celebration hosted by founder and CEO Courtney Watkins. If you have ever scored a pre-loved designer piece and felt that rush, you already know why this brand deserves a party.

From a Cambie Street Penthouse to Coast-to-Coast
Here is where it gets fun for us Vancouver folks. Courtney and a couple of friends launched Mine & Yours in 2013 from a penthouse beside the Cambie Street bridge, then moved into a townhouse, opened a proper boutique on Howe Street, closed and opened Davie Street in Yaletown and then in Kitsilano on West 4th. Every move meant a bigger stage, a wider circle of clients, and an even sharper vision for authenticated pre-owned luxury.
The brand has since has jumped to Toronto’s Yorkville district after Courtney relocated, and with it built out a team of more than 80 people. The numbers are seriously impressive. More than 150,000 designer pieces have found new homes, and she is not stopping until she hits one million.

Meet the Woman Behind It All
Courtney is a total superstar of Canadian luxury resale, and she spotted the potential of authenticated designer resale long before everyone else caught on. She treats every handbag, jacket, and accessory like it belongs in a flagship window, and that care shows. Thirteen years in, the momentum keeps building, and anyone watching her rise can see there is no slowing down.
She proved it again at El Mocambo. At the end of her on-stage remarks, she took a moment to thank the Mine & Yours team for making the celebration happen, and the room of loyal clients and admirers answered with warm applause.

The Runway Moment
After cocktails and a buzzing silent auction, the models hit the runway in looks from Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton, plus other legendary fashion houses. Menswear and womenswear both had their spotlight, with sparkling ensembles and polished styling that gave pre-owned pieces a full new-season treatment. Resale on the runway? Absolutely, and it looked fabulous.
The Beckerman twins, Canadian fashion favourites Cailli and Sam Beckerman, were in the crowd too. The pair already have a connection to the brand through a curated closet drop featuring designer pieces from their own wardrobes, so their appearance felt like family showing up for the big night.

Jeanne Beker and a Night with Real Heart
The most touching moment came during Courtney’s on-stage chat with Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker. Jeanne reflected on the fourth anniversary of the start of her cancer treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and the whole room hung on every word as she spoke about her recovery.
Giving back was woven into the entire evening. Every dollar from the silent auction, which featured trips, experiences, and gifts donated by local businesses, went to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, along with a portion of selected merchandise sales. The timing lined up beautifully as well: Mine & Yours celebrating 13 years, Jeanne turning 75 in 2027, and Princess Margaret marking 75 years since its founding that same year.

Montréal, Mississauga, and Calgary, Here She Comes
The expansion is moving at full speed. Mine & Yours is getting ready to open inside Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montréal, bringing its luxury resale offering to Québec for the very first time. A new pop-up also just opened at Holt Renfrew in Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, so shoppers west of Toronto can now get their hands on pre-owned designer handbags, apparel, and accessories with ease.
Out west, the Holt Renfrew presence in Calgary has been extended into 2027. What started as a pop-up has turned into a lasting address, and Calgary clients are clearly not letting it go anywhere.
Next Up, the United States
Courtney already has her eye on the border. By the end of 2027, Mine & Yours will expand into the United States, taking a homegrown Vancouver success story international.
From a start-up in a penthouse beside the Cambie Street bridge to a coast-to-coast presence and an upcoming cross-border debut, this story reads like a fashion fairy tale, and the best chapters are still being written. If this anniversary bash was any hint, the next 13 years will be even more spectacular, and we will be cheering from the front row.
