The annual Whisky Global event took place on January 26th and 27th, 2024, at the esteemed Paradox Hotel in downtown Vancouver, BC. Following the tremendous success of past years, the sold-out Whisky Global returned for another year and true to its word, presented an exceptional experience for whisky connoisseurs and novices alike with respected brands like Johnnie Walker, GlenAllachie, D’Usse Cognac, Beam Suntory, Campari, and more (full list here).

Grand Tasting Hall

The Grand Tasting Hall is the anchor of Whisky Global. Guests are invited to walk the room and taste many of the premium and delicious whiskies that are available to be sampled – to enjoy the whiskies and learn about what makes them so special.

“Whether you’re a whisky aficionado or just starting your journey, Whisky Global offers a unique and enjoyable experience for all. I have spent so much time in this magical city, and coming back is always such a treat. The people, the landscape, the community… it’s incredible,” shares Adam Bloch, the event’s Lead Producer.

Throughout the two-day event, Whisky Global in Vancouver delivered on offering a premium-tasting landscape where Vancouver’s most dedicated connoisseurs came together to discuss and sample one of their true loves: whisky. With Glencairn-style whisky glasses in-hand, live music by Olin Brix, guests agreed this is always one of the most incredible and special events Vancouver would enjoy all year.

Looking the Part

Besides whisky, there was one other vendor holding court at Whisky Global – SURMESUR Men’s Wear. Front and centre was Will Chen, a friend to all those who value style and sophistication, and a well-dressed gent. Surmesur was founded in 2010 in Quebec by two brothers in hopes of creating a new shopping concept for men around the world. Their made-to-measure suiting for men now includes footwear and accessories, and special events at the tony Yaletown location.
