Stand-out Immersive Experience
Experience the innovative Future Neighbourhood immersive feature! This groundbreaking feature is not just a design but an experience that will inspire, delight, and stimulate conversation about good design. With four core designs by ADS Projects with WAO Architecture, Petit Architect, SvN, and Leckie Studio, this segment invites dialogue and action.
Don’t Forget Me by ADS Projects x WAO
AD Projects aspires to create spaces that transcend their physical form, becoming vibrant hubs of connection and community. It is a landscape where projects serve as catalysts for meaningful interactions, where people come together, collaborate, and thrive.
The philosophy at WAO is one of collaboration; clients, consultants, designers, and builders can achieve unique results that respond to each project’s challenges and opportunities.
With the help of digital artist Jonny Ostrem, Don‘t Forget Me invites the viewer into a dialogue exploring the evolving relationship between humans and AI within the realm of design. As this technological frontier is navigated, the installation reflects on a innate connection to nature—particularly the dense, forested landscapes of the West Coast that many of us call home.
Looking toward the future of design, a seamless integration is envisioned where the forest is not just an aesthetic addition but an integral part of interior spaces. This is a future where nature and design genuinely become one, inviting the forest back into our environments and allowing it to coexist and thrive within built spaces.
In this context, AI emerges as a surprising ally, offering the potential to enhance our connection to these natural landscapes and to each other, helping to create these environments. AI can be pivotal in designing spaces that pull humans back together, fostering connection and community.
This installation serves as both a reflection and a reminder: as the world advances in design and technology, we must not lose sight of the human connections that ground us—connections that AI may help to nurture and sustain.
On the Floor
The Perpetua Bar uses recycled materials to create an immersive space for gathering with an impressive and visually compelling elevated rippled curtain. Open on all sides and accessed from any angle, it seeks to unite people, blurring the line between openness and enclosure.
The BonBon Lounge will surely delight and hit IG within seconds of the doors opening! The furniture system is a versatile and colourful collection of nesting modules that can be stacked and arranged in various ways. Its contoured shape ensures user comfort and secure stacking. BonBon supports a wide range of seating arrangements, is suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces, and can be easily moved and stacked for storage. Durable and UV stable, the entire system is 100% recyclable.
The District is IDS’s popular cash-and-carry neighbourhood that showcases fresh collections of design products for the home. It is the marketplace for designers to show and sell to discerning consumers and industry insiders. Do not miss local favourites Lorna Moffat Designs, Soulroots Moss Arts, OBAKKI Skincare, and Anna Ceramics.
COLLECT Fine Arts section is located on the East side of the Main Show floor and is a group exhibition featuring contemporary artists showcasing new collections perfect for any interior.
